Hey, it’s okay

"Hey, it's okay" is a platform set up by the government to help people with common mental health issues such as stress, sadness, performance anxiety, and insecurity. Through their website, you can find assistance and useful tips to help you start the conversation.

They urgently needed a new brand identity, one that exuded calmness and friendliness, in contrast to their old style where everything was written in loud colors and aggressive copy. This was in stark contrast to the message they wanted to convey.

I opted for a serene color sceme with soft, rounded shapes and typography. The copy is no longer written in uppercase, and I introduced the speech bubble alongside the logo as a visual element and character that can be used when needed to clarify certain aspects like graphs or situations.

With the new brand identity in place, a new campaign was launched with Roorda Reclamebureau featuring Dutch pop artists Thabita and Sor.
